TEXAS FBLA VIRTUAL CHAPTER
FBLA Opportunities—Wherever You Learn
The Texas FBLA Virtual Chapter gives eligible High School and Middle School students access to leadership, competition, service, and career-development opportunities when an active FBLA chapter is not available through their school.
The Virtual Chapter is intended for eligible students who do not have access to an active FBLA chapter through their school.
Students who have access to an active FBLA chapter at their school should join through their local chapter.
One Statewide Chapter.
Two Student Divisions.
Traditional High School and Middle School FBLA chapters are organized through a student’s school and supported by a local school adviser. The Texas FBLA Virtual Chapter is a separate statewide option for eligible students who do not have access to an active FBLA chapter at their school.

Virtual Chapter members can connect with students from across Texas while developing leadership, communication, teamwork, and career-ready skills.

Eligible conference experiences
Virtual membership may include in-person conferences and competitions. Parent or guardian support is required for eligible travel and participation.
Families Help Make Participation Possible
Because the Virtual Chapter is not supported by a student’s school, active parent or guardian involvement is an important part of membership.
Students Are Expected To
- Attend required virtual meetings and activities.
- Monitor official chapter communications.
- Complete responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with the adviser and members.
- Complete their own program and competition work.
Parents or Guardians Are Expected To
- Participate in required orientation and family meetings.
- Monitor communications, requirements, and deadlines.
- Keep family contact information current.
- Support the student without completing work for them.
- Review costs and commitments before registering for activities.
- Provide required supervision, transportation, and travel support for in-person events.
