Howdy Texas FBLA!

My name is Gustavo Rivas, and I’m honored to serve as your 2026-2027 Secretary! I’m currently a Senior at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, and this is my 3rd year in FBLA.

I started my FBLA Chapter at the end of my freshman year, and it was one of the best decisions I could have ever made. Since then, I’ve served as your State Area 5 VP, and competed in events like Public Speaking, and attended conferences where I met and bonded with incredible individuals. On the national stage, I have served as the Executive Assistant on the National President’s Executive Council, and I now serve as your FBLA National Treasurer. I am excited to meet and connect with so many members this year, and to see the long lasting impact this Texas Officer Team will strive to make. Outside of FBLA, I run track and field and run my own Pro-Bono consulting firm for small businesses. I love hanging out with friends, going to concerts, and golfing.
