Leo Gomez

Hello, Texas FBLA!

My name is Leonardo Gomez, and I am honored to be serving my second term as your Area 2 State Vice President for the 2026–2027 year. As a senior at Del Valle High School, this August marks my fourth year as a proud member of FBLA, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue representing the members of Area 2.

Throughout my FBLA journey, I have developed as a leader, connected with members across Texas, and discovered a passion for service and business leadership. I am especially thankful to my advisers, family, friends, and fellow members whose support and encouragement have helped me grow into the leader I am today.

​

Outside of FBLA, I stay actively involved in my school and community through DECA, National Honor Society, Yearbook, Film Club, and Tax Club. These experiences have strengthened my passion for leadership, teamwork, and helping others succeed.

When I’m not working on school or FBLA projects, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

This year, my goals for Area 2 are to increase membership, strengthen connections between chapters, expand community service opportunities, and help more members experience the incredible opportunities available through the State Leadership Conference and National Leadership Conference. Most importantly, I want every member to feel connected to something bigger than themselves as we work together to leave a lasting impact on our area.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve Area 2 for a second term. I am excited to work alongside our members, advisers, and chapter leaders as we continue Building Our Legacy. With One Area. One Vision. One Legacy. We can create meaningful opportunities, strengthen our chapters, and inspire future generations of FBLA members.
