Howdy Texas FBLA!

 

My name is Michelle Onianwa and I have the honor to serve as your 2026-2027 Texas State Parliamentarian. I am a rising junior and Cinco Ranch High School from Area 5, and this is my third year in FBLA.

 

I joined FBLA my freshman year, and that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I started out as a freshman ambassador in my school, moving up to membership officer, and eventually becoming secretary. I also competed in events like intro to parliamentary procedure and intro to business communications, but what I love most about FBLA are the experiences I gain from it. The various volunteering opportunities, chapter meetings, and leadership conferences made me fall in love with the organization, and the friendships I made in FBLA will truly stay with me for a lifetime.

 

Outside of FBLA, I participate in Model UN, National Spanish Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society. I love to spend my free time making art, trying new foods, and spending time with my family. I love meeting new people, so at SLC, feel free to come and strike up a conversation! Another love of mine is pin trading, so if you have pins to trade at NLC, come find me! 

 

I am forever grateful for the community and skills I’ve gotten through FBLA, and I am so excited to work alongside everyone to make this year of FBLA a great one!
